Heirloom Books are created by photographer and artist Pauline Neilson.
The concept of producing them originated from her realisation that many people have a passion for those things that are dear to their heart. By utilising the talents and creative insights that Pauline brings to this task it becomes possible to record those life treasures in a beautiful book.
Pauline works with you to ensure that your own thoughts and influences are incorporated into your book. Every book develops its own character which rightfully reflects its unique quality. An initial meeting with Pauline sets the scene for what the book will look like followed by a period of collecting the images and information needed. Once this is completed the draft layout of the book is made and checked by you. At this stage things can be altered, added to or revised as appropriate. Once you are satisfied that your book is what you want Pauline sends the copy to one of several printers based offshore.
The printing and return of your book takes up to 3 - 4 weeks depending on the options you have chosen for it. Extra copies of your book can be ordered after viewing your original copy.
